Like many practitioners, I began with curiosity — exploring Qigong, martial arts, and meditation.
But it didn’t take long to realize something was missing.
Most modern teachings talked about Qi, but rarely showed how to generate it, store it, refine it, or transform it.
That search led me to the mountains, temples, and training halls of China — and what became almost a decade of immersive study under genuine lineage masters.
📚 Almost a Decade Living and Learning in China
I spent nearly a decade living, studying, and training in China — fully dedicated to Traditional Chinese Medicine, Classical Chinese Medicine, and authentic Neigong.
During this time, I had the rare privilege of learning privately from high-level masters who seldom taught outsiders, including:
⭐ Master Jiang Feng
Lineage master of Gengmen Pai — a classical Shaolin and Buddhist internal tradition. Under Master Jiang Feng I trained in the authentic methods of the Gengmen lineage, practices rarely transmitted outside of a direct personal relationship with the lineage holder.
⭐ Master Zhou Gan Sheng
My primary teacher and lineage master of Yuanmen Pai — a classical Daoist and Buddhist internal tradition and one of the most accomplished Classical Chinese Medicine practitioners and Neigong masters of his generation. I trained as his indoor student and personal intern for over a decade and counting, working alongside him during international medical and Neigong seminars across Europe and Asia. This was not occasional attendance at workshops — it was years of daily proximity to a master at the highest level of this work, absorbing both the clinical and internal dimensions of what he practised and taught.
⭐ Other Private Lineage Holders
His training extended beyond his primary teachers and included direct instruction, guidance, and correction from several senior members of the lineage, including Master Jiang Feng’s senior classmates, often referred to within the tradition as “uncles.” Among these were Uncle Cheng and Uncle Wang, both of whom provided direct teaching and support during his years of training in China.
Alongside his core lineage training, Rudi also sought opportunities to learn from other experienced practitioners and traditions. This included meeting and receiving instruction from Master Luo Kang Qi in Thailand, as well as studying aspects of Indian yogic and Kriya-based systems with teachers like Sri M. While his teaching remains firmly rooted in the Gengmen Pai and Yuanmen Pai traditions, these additional experiences helped broaden his understanding of internal cultivation and contemplative practice.
This was not classroom instruction — it was personal transmission, day after day.
Training often happened in small private settings, private seminars, and quiet village homes. Sessions often began before sunrise and continued late into the night. This is where I learned the Classical Chinese Medicine I often use during treatments.
These years reshaped my understanding of:
- the body
- the mind
- the mechanics of internal power
- and the real nature of Qi
I learned that true internal skill is not mystical — it’s a process of structure, pressure, breath, and stillness working together.
🎓 Academic Foundation in Chinese Medicine
Alongside this intense training, I completed a 5-Year degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine in Shanghai, studying:
- classical theory
- acupuncture
- herbalism
- physiology & biology
- meridian and Qi anatomy
This allowed me to bridge ancient internal methods with modern anatomy and medicine — giving my teaching clarity, safety, and precision.

🌐 Working With Masters & Teaching Internationally
For several years, I worked as a personal translator and assistant for Master Zhou Gan Sheng during his international Neigong and Classical Chinese Medicine seminars across Europe and Asia. This gave me a level of access to his teaching and clinical work that very few students ever experience — observing and assisting at the highest level of both internal practice and classical medicine over an extended period.
This gave me rare insight into:
- how different systems express the same principles
- how authentic methods can be adapted for modern students
- how internal training progresses at different stages of development
🔥 Authentic Transmission
Everything I teach is drawn directly from my own authentic training and personal practice.
No watered down methods
No invented techniques
No shortcuts or diluted forms
Just the real internal process — simplified and structured so modern practitioners can follow it safely and correctly.
There are no secrets, only correct steps taken in the correct order.
🧭 My Teaching Philosophy
I teach exactly as I was taught:
- ✔️ Step-by-step, patiently, precisely.
- ✔️ Do not rush what must develop slowly.
- ✔️ Build the body first, then the energy, then the mind.
Students repeat fundamental practices for months — sometimes years — because that is how real internal change is created.
Those who stay consistent always experience:
- A calmer mind
- Stronger energy
- Improved health
- Deeper stillness
- Greater resilience
My role is to guide each student with honesty, clarity, and refinement — ensuring the training remains safe, authentic, and effective.
🧑🏫 Summing up
I am a Doctor of Chinese Medicine and an indoor student of two classical lineages — Gengmen Pai (a Shaolin and Buddhist internal tradition under Master Jiang Feng) and Yuanmen Pai (a Daoist and Buddhist internal tradition under Master Zhou Gan Sheng).
I specialise in:
Neigong
Qigong
Classical Chinese Medicine
Traditional Chinese Medicine
Daoist internal training (Neidan)
Restoring health through energy cultivation
Through nearly 10 years of living and training in China, I have developed a rare expertise in both the medical and energetic sides of internal practice and I am happy to teach what I have learned to eager students.
With me you are learning authentic methods — not diluted modern adaptations.
However, there is always more to learn, I continue to train, refine, and improve — and each student I teach helps evolve the way I share these methods.
