My journey into internal cultivation began with simple questions — what is real internal power? Is it even real? Can it truly be achieved?
Like many, I started by exploring Qigong and martial arts, but I quickly realized that most modern teachings only scratched the surface. They spoke about Qi but rarely showed how to truly generate, store, or refine it.
That search eventually led me to China — and what became almost a decade of deep, immersive training under genuine lineage masters.
I spent nearly nine years living and training in China, studying both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and authentic internal methods directly from high-level teachers.
During that time, I had the rare opportunity to learn privately from masters who rarely taught outsiders, including:
This wasn’t classroom learning — it was daily, personal transmission.
Training took place in small temples, mountain retreats, and private homes — often beginning before sunrise and ending late into the night.
What I learned there completely changed my understanding of the body, energy, and awareness.
I discovered that true internal power is not about strength or technique — it’s about structure, pressure, and stillness merging into one living process.
Alongside this training, I completed a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the International University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Shanghai, studying classical theory, acupuncture, herbalism, and the energetic anatomy that underlies all internal work.
This academic grounding allowed me to bridge ancient internal practices with a modern understanding of health, anatomy, and energy physiology — helping me teach Neigong in a way that’s clear, precise, and effective for today’s students.
Over the years, I’ve also worked as a translator and assistant for several well-known Chinese masters during medical and Neigong seminars for foreign groups.
This gave me a unique perspective — seeing how different systems express the same principles, and how authentic methods can be adapted to meet each student where they are.
The training methods I now share through Authentic Neigong come directly from those years of personal study and experience.
They are not a mix of styles or inventions, but a refined process drawn from genuine internal lineages — simplified, clarified, and structured for modern practitioners.
Everything I teach has been personally tested and verified through years of practice, both in solitude and under close supervision of those who hold the real methods.
There are no secrets, only stages — and each one prepares you for the next.
I teach exactly as I was taught — patiently, stage by stage, ensuring the body and energy are truly ready before progressing.
In the beginning, this means repeating the same few practices for months or even years, allowing the structure and Qi to rebuild naturally.
Rushing this process leads nowhere.
But those who stay consistent always see results — a calmer mind, stronger energy, and a body that feels deeply alive.
My role is to guide that process with precision and honesty, helping each student progress at the pace that’s right for them.
My path hasn’t ended — it continues to evolve through ongoing training and teaching.
Each student I work with helps refine the way I share these methods, ensuring they remain authentic, living, and practical.
You can find photos, videos, and stories from my time in China and from current student retreats on the Authentic Neigong YouTube Channel and the My Journey Gallery page.
True cultivation is a lifelong path — one that begins with health, deepens into power, and matures into stillness.
I invite you to take the first step. At AuthenticNeigong, our mission is to help individuals achieve inner peace and clarity through the practice of meditation. Our guided meditations are designed to reduce stress and anxiety, improve focus, and promote overall well-being.
